Hi - I am researching the McKeoghs from the above counties from 1830 to date, and trying to link two familes of the same name and from the same area - if anyone has any b.m.d /census info on McKeoghs from these counties and would be prepared to share it I would be most grateful.

All suggestions welcome....

regards

Sharon

Hi Sharon - My paternal grandmother, Agnes McKeogh Lynch, was the daughter of Catherine Bogue and Henry McKeogh. I found Henry and several of his children, in the 1901 census, living in Skeogue, Trillick, Tyrone (Henry is listed as a widower). Below is additional information from the Enumerator's Abstract. I am not a skilled genealogist but do hope that the information is useful. If you do find that we have shared McKeogh history, please let me know. Many thanks. - Joanne Lynch Antun

You should start a new thread of your own with the Rickett name you are looking for, not buried under the McKeogh families.

You need a reference date for looking for information:

1901/1911 Census: www.census.nationalarchives.ie plus fragments that survived the Four Courts Fire in 1922 1821-1851 No Gordon Rickett in the 1901/1911 in any county

www.askaboutireland.ie Griffith Valuation 1846-1864

www.familysearch.org civil registrations for Ireland 1864-1950's. (international records as well)

George Charles RickettS married July-Sept, 1919, Larne, Antrim (E.Coast)

George Hamilton RickettS married Oct-Dec 1899, Simla (Belfast)

www.rootsireland.ie for all Ireland and because Tyrone & Fermanagh are Northern Ireland
www.emeraldancestors.com both pay websites.

Ancestry no longer send out automatic emails to advise you someone is trying to contact you which requires you to check your membership page to see if you have been contacted.
