hi clairek

here is info i found in ireland :

i found patick's parents marriage registration

married in RC chapel of Rusky, registrqars district of gortin, in union ofgortinin county of tyrone, July, 22,1880

Bernard mcCullagh - 40 -widower- farmer -barness -

father - Hugh McCullagh-farmer

Ann Morris - 32 - widow - teebane e - father - John Morris-farmer
bernard uses ( BARNEY ) in signiture

on the 1901 census in the entry you described there were two dwellings on that farm - 2 people lived in one and 6 in the other - barney's age matches marriage certificate - ann's within two years. patricks is righton using birthdate i have verified in several places. Bernard signs marriage cert. and census as "barney"

at sacred heart when we looked through the book the only birth listed was patrick's in 1888 - could you shed any light on this???

there was a birth listed in1876 (elizabeth) to bernard morris and jane kirk
i am pretty sure this was bernard's previous marriage
i found patrick living with a lizzie mccullough byrne in the 1920 census in phila.
i also think some of the older daughters in census may have been from previous marriage

at st patricks in gortin the 1880 marriage was listed but that was all.

i struck out in belfast, not much time, i am sure i left alot of info behind
hopefully i will get back again, can you help with anything further???

thks
