Finding links among the various Tipperary Churchill families is a good idea, but that requires evidence. The only thing that's on this 9-year-old thread is speculation, wild-eyed-guesses, and conflating different people who have the same name.

There are at least 4 Churchill families who emigrated from County Tipperary in the early to mid-nineteenth century:

John Churchill, b. 1773, who emigrated to Huntingdon County, Quebec c. 1835. (William Churchill, b. 1801, is a son of his.)

Joseph Churchill, b. 1778, who emigrated to Peterborough County, Ontario c. 1844, then migrated to Rock County, Wisconsin, where he died in 1862.

John Churchill, b. c. 1811, who migrated to Kent, England c. 1868-70.

William, John, & Joseph Churchill, b. 1807-1815, who settled in Goderich Twp, Huron County, Ontario c. 1829-43. This Joseph Churchill died in Huron County. He is not the same Joseph Churchill who died in Wisconsin.

Then there's "Samuel Churchill -- early settler to Lanark County, Bathurst District, Canada -- listed in Perth Military Settlement lists as being located Sept. 18, 1819 on Lot NE10, Conc 8, Burgess Twp. Settlement info shows him as being from Ireland...I believe he may the father of my GG Grandfather John Churchill of Admaston and the Village of Renfrew, Renfrew County." Do we know if he was even from County Tipperary? Was any evidence ever found of his hypothesized relationship to John Churchill of Admaston?
