I was interested in your message because my research shows my relative Nicholas Shouldice was married to Susanna Mooney. He was a 2nd generation Palatine German who's grandfather Johann-Nicholas immigrated to Ireland in the early 1700's. My relative Leonard immigrated to Canada an settled_Wakefield Quebec in 1817. In 1822 James was born and subsequently married Ann Irwin & in 1848 gave birth to James 2nd and he and wife Mary Stevenson gave birth to my great grandfather Thomas Howard.
