I am looking for my gr-gr-grandfather Michael Armstrong (b. 1826 in Sligo, Ireland. died 1906 in Ontario,Canada.)
I don't know where in Sligo he was born, but I know that he emigrated to Canada before, 1850......he married Eliza Ewing (b. Jan. 25, 1831, in Ireland, d. Oct. 29, 1906 in Ontario) in 1850 in Rosemont, Simcoe County, Ontario. They had 12 children. I am trying to find out his parents names, and his siblings. They were Protestant, I believe. I am not sure if he was a farmer or a carpenter/mason.
Any information at all would be great.
