While you wait for replies you could try writing a few letters. Kilglass/Dromore W. is the area to look in the online telephone directory for Sligo where 67 Rooney's live
and 27 in the Kilglass area, Devany, no longer lists any in Sligo the closest being Galway.

This is quite different from 1857 when 117 Devany's lived in Sligo. None were in Kilglass and 130 Rooney's were in Sligo and 2 in Kilglass Parish.
