I contacted the GRO office via the link on the website and received back two attachments. One was the information I had found looking at the frequently asked questions area and the other was the "form" to use to mail in for the request for the certificate. It will allow for the payment to be made via creditcard - all other payments are required of Irish Banks [checks] so this is the only way it seems to do this from "across the pond".

I will be a test case and let you know how it goes...keep your fingers crossed... ;)
