I don't know those names specifically, but I am related to the Bruens from Rosses Point. My great grandfather John Bruen was born in 1855 in Drumcliffe, Sligo. My mother stays in touch with her 2nd cousin Bridie Judge who lives in Sligo. The Bruens remain there and I am told a cousin-in-law (John Mugan) has the family information, but I have yet to receive it.

In my particular family tree I know that the name Patrick Bruen is a common name. I have one that was born in 1853 and one that died in the 1950s. It sounds like our Patricks are different.

However, I would say the family is probably still related somehow. I got the impression from them that it's all one family (if you go back enough)
