Hi Jeanne
Prior to 1896 Dromiskabole was a townland in the Catholic parish of Calry/St John's. The Electrocal district for Drumiscabole was and still is Kilmacowen. In 1896 an RC Church for the Carraroe area was officially opened. The records you require are available in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Sligo. However prior to 1858 some records are missing.I am researching, on behalf of a friend Daveys from Drumiskabole,Carraroe,Co Sligo. They are the descendants of Roger Davey Drumiscabole, born circa 1846 and who married in 1870 Anne Devins in the Drumcliff/Maugherow Parish. They subsequently lived in Drumiscabole. The family grave is in Kilmacowen Cemetery.
