Upon researching my grandfather's family lineage (William S. Wendt), I discovered that his mother was Katie (Sadie) Bance who was born to John and Anne (Nolan) Bance in Roscommon, Ireland on March 25, 1863. She also had a sister, Nora / Norah. Does anyone have any additional information on the Bance family?
