My Ggrandfather, Michael Durr and Ggrandmother, Bridget Rafferty (both born ca. 1825-30), emigrated from Ballaghaderreen to the U.S. in March 1861. They lived in Whiteside Co. and Lee Co. IL. Michael died in 1887; Bridget in 1896.

I would appreciate information about the Durr and Rafferty extended families (if any) in Illinois and especially in Ballaghaderreen. My grandmother (Mary Angela Durr b. 1875 in Harmon, IL) was one of their four children.
