Patrick Gordon father of Hugh Gordon born 1867, both drapers. Hugh married Mary Rebecca and they had 8 children, Michael b1893, Hugh b1895, Patrick b1897, Annie b1900, Maureen b1902, Martha b1904, Kathleen b1906, and Andrew b1908. In 1901 and 1911 censi they were living and working in Fermanagh Street Clones. In 1911 he married Ellen Trainor, father James Trainor, farmer Cootehill. Hugh and Ellen had 5 children, Lizzie, Monica, Daniel born 1914, Bridget born 1915 and Rita born 1917. They lived in Fermanagh Street, Clones, Co Monaghan. Hugh died in 1935 in Clones and is buried in the churchyard of the Sacred Heart RC church in Clones. Apparently Monica was living in Galway in 1942.
