Am searching for any info re: my Co. Mayo connections.My great grandparents were Martin Howley and Mary McGowan.of Cloondolough near Kiltimagh. They married around 1874 and had ten children,one being my grandmother,Maria.He was a farmer.I think he had brothers--Patrick,Anthony and maybe a Thomas. Mary may have had a brother John--I'm sure there were others.
My paternal great grandparents in Aghamore were James Robinson and Bridgit Burke. They married in Feb 1870. He was a farmer and I know of five children--possibly more. One son was my grandfather,Francis Patrick(Frank)Bridget died on 25 July 1898-she was 50.As of 1911, James was still living at age 70.
