Thomas Langan b. 1826 Waterford, Ireland, married Catherine Jordan born in 1822 in Ireland. They lived in Mayo, Ireland when first son Dominic was born in 1846. By 1849 they had emigrated to the United States and son John was born 1849 in New York. Daughter Mary A. b. 1852 NY; Margaret LANGAN, B:c. 1855; by 1856 they were in Henry Co, IL where other children James Henry LANGAN, B: 16 Nov 1856; Bridget LANGAN, B: 1858; and Ellen LANGAN, B: May 1860. Catherine, the mother, died on 08 Dec 1911 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.
