I am looking for information on a Thomas O'BRIEN who was born in Claremorris, County Mayo. I have reason to believe he is my great-great-grandfather.

This Thomas O'Brien was born on December 24, 1859, according to naturlization papers filed in Fall River, MA. The naturlization became final on Sept. 30, 1890.

At some point in time, before ending up in Fall River, he went to England. There, he met a woman by the name of Mary Ann COONEY, who was born in England to Irish immigrant parents. They married around 1882 and had a daughter, Mary. From England, this family emigrated to the US around 1885.

The witnesses on Thomas O'BRIEN's naturalization papers are John MORAN and John COONEY.
