Markey family at "Belrobin"

Surnames: Maguire, Corridon, Markey, O'Dougherty, Carahars, Marron, Mc Krown
This info is from a family letter - I hope it will be of interest to someone. I'd be happy to hear of any further info.

My great grandmother was Mary Maguire and she married Richard Corridon in Limerick in 1860.

Mary Maguire had uncles, gentlemen farmers in County Wicklow, south of Dublin. Her father’s (William Maguire) sister married Squire James Markey, estate owner and resident of “Belrobin”, Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. After their father died, his seven daughters became “Wards in Chancery”; their brother Andrew Markey died at Clongowers Wood College near Dublin when he was a student there at the age of 17. The sisters married professional men- some of them barristers, one was a Mr William Izard O’Dougherty QC: another a Mr Carahars [of ?] QC. Another sister was married to her namesake, Mr Markey – she died a year after, and her sister married a Mr Marron and another married a Mr Mc Krown.
