I'm not sure as according to his marriage cert. he should have been b.1855ish.
I don't even know which part of Ireland he came from!
The first sign of him is in Liverpool,England in 1884 when he got married! I do know that his father was also James and I think he was a labourer.
They had at least three children,James b.1884,Thomas b.1890 and David.
His wife was a widow,Sarah Selina Hanlon,nee Samuels.
