Mary Trustan and Thomas Meehan became parents of Francis Meehan (my g-gfather) on or about 20 Jan 1854. Francis baptized in Kiltubrid parish, Co. Leitrim.

Trustan an uncommon name. Have found very few people with that surname. Would anybody have a background re this name, i.e., a derivative of another, or imported, etc?
