Ok, what is the Conn and Mass connection?
My McAviney line comes into CT with Patrick McAviney (son of Eugene McAviney and Mary Maguie) born "about" 1925 from census and other information.
Lived in East Windsor and Enfield (village of Scitico) CT and is burried in Hazardvieel (also a village in Enfield)
There is another McAviney family in Enfield which is probably related but I have not yet been able to make the connection. The two cemetry plots adjoin and there are several other things that overlap but no definitive relationship. The head of that family in CT who is a contemporaty of Patrick is , Edward McAviney, son of Edward.
The only Mass connection I know of at this point is that Patrick's son Thomas married Marie Josephine McCarthy in Springfield, Mass in 1887. Bear in mind that Springfield, MA is just over the State Line from Enfield CT
