I have Patrick McAviney showing up in Enfield, CT about 1840. Wife listed in various places as Mary Clancy.
Enfield is on the CT/MASS border just south of Springfield. Patrick & Mary's son (one of several children) Thomas married Mary Josephine McCarthy who had moved to Springfield from Ireland.
Thomas and Mary moved to New Haven CT about 1898.
