I am looking for information on my ggg grandfather whos name was Patrick Joseph Gannon born abt 1800, he married Ann Dempsey b abt 1809. They had two children son Dennis and daughter Rosa, there could have been a third child but did not come out with them.
Patrick was convicted of stealing and sentenced to 7 years in Van Diemans Land in 1841. He applied to have Ann and children bought out in 1847-48.
I also think Patrick had a brother John who was sentenced at the same time. The ships name was the Richard Webb.
Looking for birth dates and marriage dates.
