I am searching for any info pertaining to James Shannon of Ireland. He married (Mary) Jane McHeleney. They had at least 1 son, James Alexander Shannon, born April 17, 1852 in Londonderry, Ireland.
Their son James A. Shannon married Julia Ann Bramley in Ilinois. I know that James A. Shannon and his family came to America when he was approx. the age of 14. They settled in the state of Illinois.
I am at a brick wall as to who the parents of James A. Shannon and Jane McHeleney were. Any help greatly appreciated!
