1800s - Thompsons in "Newton-Limavady"

Hi everyone. I’m hoping to find some more information about my Grea Great Great Great Great Grandmother Sarah Thompson. According to an 1848 LDS marriage record for her second marriage, Sarah was born September 10th, 1810 in “Newton Camavady” Derry, Ireland. I believe this is a reference to “Newton-Limavady”, which is now Londonderry, and am hoping someone might be able to help me out.

Sarah came to Canada sometime prior to the birth of her eldest child in 1834. Her first husband, John Lindsay/Lindsey was Scotch, though I know nothing else about him. I do think, however, that there is a good chance that he came to North America from Ireland as well, and might have even married Sarah in Ireland, because their oldest children remembered the distinction, but the younger siblings seemed to be under the impression John was from Ireland as well.

Anyhow, I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks.
