My point wasn't made clear enough. Their IS a connection between John and Dennis. I was simply receiving many inquiries from different families from the south in connecting their blood lines to mine without substanciated proof. The family was taking liberties in possible name mis-prints to substanciate their claim of decendancy.

I had proof of documentation, and they had hear-say that had been repeated within their family for the last 2 generations. My point was that hear-say does not substanciate blood lines.
