Looking for any Cudahy's of Thomastown , Kilkenny. My grandmother Josephine Cudahy was born on April 14th 1880 in Thomastown to Edward Cudahy and Mary Hennesey and came over to the US in 1897 on the Carpathia. She was one of nine children and I believe her niece's family still might be living in Dunamaggin , her name was Josephine O'Shea. Her father Edward may have been a coachman or footman at Castle Morriss for one of the old Anglo-Irish gentry families the Morisseys. Only one of her brothers came over, Michael and he drowned in the Hudson River near Troy , NY in 1927 . Two of her sisters Margaret and Mary came over later but I don't know what happened to them.
