If it is the same person here is the information I have. John Colney b in Ireland, 8 children, d Oct 1918 in Ireland. Married Mary Hughes, b Mar 6, 1868 in Ireland, m May 19, 1892 in Ireland, d Aug 17, 1939 in Ireland.
Mary was the fourth child of John Hughes family. Mary and John were buried in Ballybracken graveyard next to her parents John and Bridget Hughes. Ballybracken is located at place called Crosskeys on the road between Athy and Monasterevan. The only indication of this is the image of crossed keys on the window of the pub. Images attached.
Several of the Hughes family emigrated to Stillwater and Duluth, Minnesota.
John Hughes, his father and grandfather, were gamekeepers to the local Cloney gentry land, locally called Cloney castle. That land is now a protected site in Ireland. I would like to know more about this part of their history.
