hi Ann Clare...thanks again for this info on Con Guerin. I bought James Herlihy's book on the RIC officers, but Con wasn't listed in the list.
My sister and I are going just to Listowel, Kerry in May. But, now I'm thinking that I should come back maybe in fall and do some research at the archives in Dublin. Would there be Waterford and Galway birth registrations at the archives? Does the RIC archives proffer a number that can perhaps take you further?
I probably need to search specific churches in Galway, too.
