My husband's great great grandfather was Jeremiah James O'ROURKE, born Feb. 1827 in Ireland. He emigrated to the United States in 1849, probably to Louisiana, and was living in St. Louis, Missouri, by 1866. He died in St. Louis in 1908. His death certificate states that his parents were James O'ROURKE and Mary O'BRIEN. Common given names in this family are Jeremiah, Edward, and Eugene. Can anyone identify with these people?
