I am trying to find Moran's that came from Carrick On Shannon, County Roscommon. My husband's side emigrated from here, to the U.S. back in 1861. The family that emigrated is John Moran and Sarah Scroggins, with two boys, Thomas and Daniel Moran. This family settled in Sheldon, Illinois area.
