Matthew Sherlock born 1850 Sligo Ireland, married Elizabeth Mary Hamilton,( born County Managhan), in Warrentpoint Ireland 1879, 6 children George, Sebastian, Matthew, Emily, Bartholomew, Mary, died 1887Warrenpoint,
Was police officer from 1871 to 1886.
believe his father had also been a police officer, I guess in the Sligo area
