Sorry I can't help you with your BURKEs. The only thing I know is that my great-great-grandmother, Ellen BURKE, emigrated to the US around 1864 and she was about 12 at the time. Her parents were John & Ellen BURKE. I don't know the senior Ellen's maiden name or if there were any other siblings. After emigrating from Ireland, this family ended up in the Haydenville/Williamsburg area of Hampshire County in Massachusetts. Because of the proximity to Boston, I am assuming that Boston was their port of entry. The junior Ellen BURKE married Patrick D. KENNEDY at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Northhampton MA (in Hampshire County) in October of 1871. Patrick KENNEDY was born in Worcester MA. Sometime around 1875 or so, after the birth of my great-grandmother, Margaret Gertrude KENNEDY (their second child), this family relocated to Bridgeport CT. This is all the information I have on this BURKE line. I have another BURKE line that ended up in Scranton PA. Sorry to be of so little help. Take care.
