Your reply gave me new hope. I will tell you all I know and please know that any help I received will be accepted with much appreciate and gratitude.
Starting backwards: Mary Geary (b1838 Ireland d.10-14-1899 Toledo Ohio death cert) married Austin Gibbons (b, 8-26-1853 Ireland d.3-3-20 Toledo, Ohio. death derti) They met and married in Ireland (source: family stories). They may have lived in another state but a good part of their lives were in Ohio. From what I am told they were Irish Catholics and even had a relative that was Cardinal Gibbons still in Ireland.

Now, Elizabeth Carraher married Thomas Francis Spain both born in Ireland (source death cert.), married in Ireland and came to America. Elizabeth had always said she was from County Cork. Death Certificates verifies they were from Ireland, but the County Cork was just by word of mouth. This part of my family were also catholics and even still go to the same church after all these years.

Most of the information I want to look at on these web sites require you to buy a subscription which I hesitate to do in the event that there is no usefull info.
