Hi my grandmother Ellen Mullen b.1892, Daughter of Thomas and Bridget Mullen was Baptized and her God parents on her baptismal certificate was Simon Mullen, and Sarah Canevan. My grandmother grew up on Townsland Cashleen and moved to the USA in 1922 and married her long time friend Patrick Joyce as soon as he was discharged from the US Army after WWI. Married in Pittsburgh, PA. Ellen's other siblings lived in Pittsburgh also. John Mullen who married Annie Haney(Heanue) and Bridget Mullen who married John Walsh her brother Festy Mullen who never married and her sister Mary Mullen who married Joseph Patrick O'Toole. All of these people mentioned were all from Renvyle Ireland who all knew each other before they came to Pittsburgh.
John was the first to come. He came to stay with his cousin Patrick Hope also from Cashleen.
