I am researching the HARDY and O'HARA families in Galway, particularly in Loughrea, where it is known that they lived.

The earliest info I have, is that a John? HARDY was married to a Kathleen O'HARA sometime between 1780 and 1800. They had 3 sons:
Francis HARDY m. Anne SIMPSON;
Henry HARDY, b. c1800 m. Emma SIMPSON, b. c1803; &
William HARDY, b.c1810 m. Frances BENN

Francis & Anne's children:
George; Anne (Mrs. John ADAMS); Mary & Elizabeth.

Henry (my ancestor)& Emma's children:
Francis; Maria (Mrs. William SPENCER); Joseph;
George; Francis; Sarah Ann (Mrs. TIDDLE/SMITH?);
Anne Elizabeth(Mrs. RODGERS); William Henry; and
Arthur.

Henry and Emma emigrated with their children, to Australia in 1854.

Henry died in Glenelg, South Australia in 1887; Emma died
in 1880.

William died at Liverpool, on his way to America. His
widow Frances came to Australia afterwards in 1857.

Can anyone please help me with more info on these families (especially of Kathleen O'HARA'S details)?
