The Cirlos Surname

While I was looking up the Cirlos Surname. My cirlos surname has variant spellings. It seems to me of the wall like for example curley or Mc Curely. How in the world can cirlos have been derived from that. But,while I was looking at your site I came across the surname Cirlus, which is close. But the site has only the Jacob Cirlos and that is all they have. My mom once spelled the surname cirlos cirlous at one of my brothers births. Anyway back to the topic at hand. The Cirlos supposed to have orinigated somewhere in Ireland or Scotland. I can only trace my Cirlos surname to Mexico in the mid 1800's like 1800-1820 that is the farthest I have been able to trace it back. So I don't know If they came directly from Spain or Greece. There is a family lore going around that my mother was part Greek. I don't know that is true or not. It has been going around for years as long I can remember. And I am 59yrs old an going 60 in august of this year. I am using Mrs. MSFIRE 128 to send this message. If you have any information to my e-mail address which is leroy431@hotmail.com I would appreciate a reply of any kind of info.
