I am descended from Daniel James Gilligan (born in Tuam, Galway in Feb 1816, died in either Britt or Grand Junction, Iowa, Dec 26, 1917); and Mary Alice Haley, born 1833 in Galway Co., and died in Grand Junction, IA on may 17, 1897). My great grandfather was James Edward Gilligan, brother to Mary Ann Gilligan Flanagan (who our records show moved to Everett, WA). I have copies of old photos. An aunt found the descendents of Dan Gilligan's brother in Ireland.
