My great-grandfather was Colman Kenny, from Derryrush, County Galway (near Carna). Born about 1880. His wife was Mary Griffin.

Colman's parents were Michael Kenny and Mary Sullivan. Michael had a brother John who married Mary's sister, Barbara. John and Barbara had three children, Bridget, Mary, and James. Mary married John Coyne in 1876, and had seven kids, Honor, Patrick, Mary, John, Anne, Bridget, and Margaret.

Mary Griffin's parents were Festus Griffin and Bridget Folan.
