Please, can anyone help me find any information on my Irish families? I am looking for John Tracy and his wife Catherine McManus. Catherine was born in 1838 in Fermanagh. According to the 1851 Census she was living with her widowed mother Anne b. 1809. Her father Owen McManus b. 1802, died in 1847. She had three brothers named Bernard b. 1836, Owen b. 1843, and Nody b. 1846. They were living in Largalinny county Fermanagh at the time of the census.Catherine's birth record states that she was born on Jan. 17, 1865, Tavermore. The information on the Registration is as follows: Superintendent District: Ballyshannon, Registrar's District, Belleek, 1865, Births Registered in the District of Belleek, in the Union of Ballyshannon in the county of Fermanagh.
Catherine married John Tracy and had seven daughters and one son. Names as follows: Ellen, Mary Ann, Alice, Rose, Bridget, and Patrick. I assume that two of the daughters died in infancy since they are not listed on my family pages.
Ellen married John McGourty, Mary Ann married John McGuiness then Patrick Koen when John died. Alice married James Mcguire, Rose married Patrick Cullen, Bridget married Owen O'Rourke, Patrick married Mary McMurrow.
Is anyone else researching any of the above families? Thanks for your help.
