Thanks you for that incredible information. I know little about Rose Garsey including the correct spelling. I believe that she married Francis Hughes at sometime around 1830 - their daughter Mary Ann Hughes is my great great paternal grandmother - although I am not exactly sure that the information is correct. In fact I know little about Mary Ann Hughes except that she married James Hood in Belfast in 1853 I believe that she was born around 1830 possibly in Belfast. I do know that the Hoods all came from Larne Antrim. James and Mary Ann came to Australia in 1855.
