My grt grandmother was called Elizabeth Cavan her father Robert Cavan was a flax buyer for the Mill.Elizabeth married Alexander Lowry in 1894 in Newtownards. At the time of her marriage she lived Our Lady's Row then moved to Solway Street.Elizabeth ( known as Lizzie) died in England in 1937 I have my grt.grandmother's will and on the back is written Mrs. D. Cavan 22 Pound Street Newtownards.
Does anyone have any reference to Cavans of Pound Street in the 1930s?
