Classification: Query
Surnames: Farren, McLaughlin, McLoughlin
I am searching for any information on a Michael Farren who married Mary (or Margaret) McLaughlin. They were married before 1834. They had at least 4 children who emmigrated to the US around 1849 - 1850. They were Margaret (b abt 1834) Patrick (b abt 1838) John and Ann.

According to 1857 Griffiths there is a Michael Farren who lives in the village of Cracknaugh, townland of Templemoyle, Clonca, Donegal. In the tiny village there are 2 neighbors named John McLoughlin and Philip McLoughlin. I am interested to see if they are possibly related to my Mary. My Farren's were Catholic. I have been told the records from their church, Malin parish were destroyed and they have nothing prior to 1856.

Is anyone researching McLaughlin, McLoughlin or Farren from this townland?
