I am researching my great grandfather Michael Finn and all I have is that his children were born in Carrigaline or Queentown until 1881 when they moved to Aberdeen in Scotland. He was a Customs Officer (born about 1844) and his wife was called Anne (nee White)...born about 1848. Their firstborn was also Michael born 1868.
Does anyone know of/have information on Customs Officers in Cork City or know where they are? I have traced the English/Scotland part and willing to exchange infor.
Anyone researching the Finns of either place? Love to hear from you. I live in France so cannot do hands on stuff myself...even though I would love to one day.
