Thank you for the site. I am only beginning to investigate the history of the Transatlantic Cable. My Great Grand Uncle was thought to have been an engineer in fitting the ship for depositing the cable. My 2X Great Grandfather was an engineer too and I simple cannot find him anywhere so I am starting to trace the history of the cable in hopes of finding him. I am really not well informed about the history of the cable.
