My late husband's father was Charles Klune McNamara and he was born in Berkeley, Calif., Sept., 1894.,d. Berk., 1943.
Charles Klune's father was Joseph Patrick McNamara and he was born in County Clare, in April, 1856. Joseph Patrick came to the U.S. in 1864 at age 8. (prob. with parents).

Joseph Patrick McNamara ended up in California where he was a plumber by trade in San Francisco and East Bay area. He married about 1883. First child born 1884. He and wife (Wheeler) had 10 children with 9 surviving in 1900 and still at home in Berkeley. First born son named Francis Joseph "Frank". Second son was Charles Klune "Charlie".

Joseph Patrick McNamara had a bunch of siblings (about 13), but do not have all of there names as yet, nor do I know where they were born.

I sure would like to learn who his parents were and where in County Clare they were from. Can anyone help?
