The bapismal sponsors for my father and his brothers and sisters were all aunts and uncles, so it is likely that my grandfather, Francis would be a sponsor for your grandmother, Anne McEnery. If this is the case, my father James and your grandfather would be first cousins and I would be a second cousin to your father. What is your grandfather and fathers names and who did they marry? I am curious to know what brought your great-grandfather to St. Paul. Was he a farmer like his brothers? Do you know when he came to America and if he went directly to your area?
