I found your message interesting as we were told that our Brady family may have been from Co. Longford. I don't recognize the names of Dawsons, Mulligans, or Darbys. All I know is that my grandmother Anne Brady married Francis Kiernan. They lived in Scrabby (Gowna) Co. Cavan. Anne's parents were "Big Coat" Brady and Rosie Brady (no relation). Their children were Thomas, Phillip, Anne (my grandmother) born June 15, 1853, and Rose. We know that Phillip came to America and settled in Oregon, Rose settled in New York and Anne came to Wisconsin with her children after Francis died suddenly in his 40's My great-grandfather's given name may be Bernard.
Have any of your Bradys ever heard of this family? Any help will be appreciated.
