I am looking for information on my gg and g grandparents. My grandmother died when my mother was a small child and there was a great deal of confusion amoung her younger siblings about where their father (Samuel Henning) was born. They all agreed his mother (Mary Emerson) was Irish and his father (John Henning) was either English or Welsh. They all could agree he was the youngest of 13 children and were only able to collectively remember the names of a few. They thought several went to Australia to live and a few ended up here in the US.

xiii. SAMUEL HENNING, b. October 30, 1863, England; (moved to Ireland at age 3 when his father died) d. December 06, 1925, Hiattville Bourbon Co KS; Immigration: Abt. 1880 (age 17) m. WINNIE MAUDE TANNER 1898, daughter of WILLIAM TANNER and SARAH ARNETT. All 12 of their children were born in Bourbon County Kansas. Census: 1920 Federal Census Marmaton Bourbon Kansas
