Hi. I'm lucky to have 2 gg grandmothers who came from Armagh (verified via marriage and death certificates) On my father's side, I'm looking for information on a Sarah McVeigh, born 1830 Armagh, daughter of Patrick McVeigh and Maryanne nee Hatherton. Sarah arrived in Australia at the age of 21, where she was employed as a domestic servant. She married a James Christopher Egan in Melbourne 1854. My other gg grandmother on my mother's side was Ann Handlon born 1829 Armagh. Her father is listed as James Handlon born c1806, occupation 'wheelright', and mother Mary Dawson. Any information about either of these families would be just great, as I have very limited records here in Australia to track their 'stories' and the entry point of the families into Australia. Many kind thanks, Rosie.
