I am seeking information on the parents and/or family of my great grandfather, James Morgan born 22 Nov 1837 in Ireland (County unknown). James left Ireland, without his parents, about 1847/48 when he was 10. He sailed on a ship that docked in New Orleans, Louisana and lived the remainder of his life in Humphreys County, Tennessee.
Family story is that he was in an orphanage (probably a work house) before he left Ireland. If you can help me find any information on the family of my great grandfather, pleae email me. JoAnne Cmamacat4@aol.com
