The John Wilkinson of Dock St. in the 1843 Belfast Directory was a ship broker and possibly known to Daniel Russell. A Samuel Russell is also listed but described as a labourer. A George Russell was a ship carpenter. An Arthur Russell was the Belfast Harbour master.
